So I Scream!
A Poem by Harry Starkey
Life is wonderous, a thing of beauty to behold
But sometimes it’s painful, harsh, and cold
It’s hard to tell, how people feel inside,
They might smile and joke, but they just want to hide
It might be a sunny day, as you stroll in the park
But to the man over here it’s lonely and dark
You see the beauty, of the sun, breaking through the fog
But it Isn’t appreciated by those visited by the black dog
You live on in bliss, you work, play and dream
But over here, you don’t see me, So I Scream.
